With the release of Core Trillium 3.12.00, students from other schools and boards that were enrolled in an eLearning course and were placed on the Independent Study register should now be placed on the NA register, so that students taking an Independent Study or eLearning Course Type within their home school can now be placed on the independent register for reporting purposes.

The Report provides information about students taking:

  1. An independent study courses and meets these criteria:
    1. Student is on the part-time Register and taking "Independent Study courses.
    2. The pupil is a day-school student
  2. The student is on your IS register and taking e-learning courses (E-Learning, E-Learning (LMS)).

The Report shows the number of sessions scheduled and attended, and the number of work units completed. Work completed by students with 34 credits is prorated between regular and high-credit base on the high-credit factor. The high-credit factor is calculated as an average for October and March for all year-long courses.

Students who are 21 years of age or older, or who will turn 21 on or before Dec. 31, of the school year will be identified with an A on the report. The Report will also identify students that are not funded by board; they'll have the value of OP in the Other pupil column and indicate the board that is responsible for the payment in column B.

In the Attendance at teacher–contact sessions section, the Report will indicate the student attended a class with a V. An A indicates an Absence.

The totals that are calculated when generating the Independent Study and e-learning register for Day School Pupil Report will be stored to populate the Independent Study tab in the Course List for Grant Purposes Extract from Core Trillium.

The Lesson Units having completed elsewhere flag set are not displayed as completed in the Report.

The Lesson Units having a mark (and not "Completed elsewhere") or "Completed" flag set, are displayed as completed.
