User Interface for Administrators - StudentsAchieve Version 5.0.1 and higher

 

New Home Page

We have introduced a new user interface that is easier for you and your teachers to navigate.

·         The menu has been rearranged into a few tabs

·         The left panel has also been moved to the top for extra screen real estate

·         We’ve added the most common screens to the home page as shortcuts

 

 

Menu Changes

The top menu has been rearranged into a few tabs so there is less clicking and navigating.

We have grouped the functions of StudentsAchieve into Home, Manage, Plan, Assess and Analyse tabs.  This menu follows the day to day functions of an educator.

Now, when you click on a tab, the background for the selected tab goes orange to show you where you are within StudentsAchieve.  It also brings up a lower menu of tabs for you to select from.

 

Home Page Tab

The Home tab has a lower menu of tabs of Getting Started, Help Pages and About StudentsAchieve.

·         The Getting Started tab is the home page

·         The Help Pages tab, is your online contextual help system and release notes by version

·         The About StudentsAchieve tab is the corporate StudentsAchieve webpage

 

 

Also, on the Home Page, your teachers now have the most common screens as shortcuts.  When they log in, they can simply click one of the home page shortcuts and it will bring them directly to that screen.

Manage Tab

The Manage tab has a lower menu of tabs of Attendance, Classes, People, Entities, Setup, My Account and Communication.

 Plan Tab

 

The Plan tab has a lower menu of Classroom; your teachers also have a shortcut for this on the home page.

This is where your teachers will ‘plan’ their lessons and assignments.  This will bring them to the newly named ‘Classroom Content Organizer’.

One of the visual changes to the ‘Classroom Content Organizer’ and ‘Marks Entry’; is the reload  and expand/collapse / buttons in the left navigation panels.

Assess Tab

The Assess tab has a lower menu of tabs of Classroom, School Wide and Report Cards.  All of these are shortcuts on the home page as well.

When your teachers are ready to ‘assess’ their students, their first option is ‘Classroom’ to enter their gradebook evaluations.  They can choose to enter their marks by assignment or student.

If they would like to enter any School Wide Assessments marks, they click ‘Assess>>School Wide and Input Marks by Class’.

To create their report card, they click ‘Assess>>Report Cards and Input Report Card Results’.  They will also access the new comment bank system here.

 

Analyze Tab

The Analyse tab has a lower menu of tabs of Classroom, School Wide and Additional Reports.

Under the ‘Analyse’ tab, this is where you and your teachers will find the analytical sections of the software.

Under the Classroom tab, you and your teachers can have up to 3 options; this will depend on what parts of StudentsAchieve you are using.

Under School Wide tab, this is where you will view the charting functions of School Wide Assessment.  This is currently not available for teachers.

Under Additional Reports tab, this is where you will run your reports, open previously generated reports and admin queries now.
