Evidence Tracker

Overview

Evidence Tracker works in conjunction with your student assessment software, allowing you to evaluate students, assignment by assignment, within the framework of assigned objectives; then communicate to your students and parents those evaluations, as well as provide feedback and/or resources.  

Choose Evidence Tracker

From the Home display, Click Student, then Click Evidence Tracker:

At top, left, of the resulting form, choose the Class you wish to work with, from the picklist. To the right of that, choose the Assignment you wish to work with. Once you've made those two choices, you will default to this display below, featuring two tab cards to choose from: Assessment Planning and Student Work.

Assessment Planning

Click Assessment Planning to come to this screen:

Immediately under Learning Goals/Success Criteria, the Information you type or paste into the main window will be visible to all students/parents in this class. If you scroll down, below Save/Revert, you will see the Objectives and their descriptions for this Assignment. Click Save to save information you enter into the main window. Revert does what you think.

At the very bottom of this form, Click Add Resources to attach files or direct students/parents to online resources. You can add as many as you choose. These will be available to all students/parents associated with this Class. Each attachment has its own blue Save and red Delete button at the far right. Each online resource has its own gold Open and red Delete button at the far right. 

Student Work

Click Student Work, then select a student you wish to assess from the picklist. Immediately under Teacher Feedback, any comments you type or paste into the main window will be visible only to the student you chose and her contacts. Click Save to save those comments. Revert does what you think. 

In the middle of this form, you can assess this student's progress against the Objectives shown on the Assessment Planning form. Only this student and her contacts will see these evaluations.

At the very bottom of this form, under Student Media, you can Click Add Resource to add resources which will be visible only to this Student and her Contacts. You can add as many Resources as you choose. Each attachment has its own blue Save and red Delete button at the far right. Each online resource has its own gold Open and red Delete button at the far right.
