Resolution

The most-common reason for that error is edits needed in your SchoolLogic web.config file have not been made. To fix this:

  • Go to the server on which the SchoolLogic software is installed. (Most schools refer to that as their web server.)
  • On that machine, most schools would go here: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\schoollogic
  • In that directory, open web.config. You will see two lines that look like this:

<add key="SLReportExecService.ReportExecution2005"value="http://localhost/ReportServer_sql200...ution2005.asmx"></add>
        <add key="SLReportManageService.ReportService2005" value="http://localhost/ReportServer_sql200...rvice2005.asmx"></add>

In the top line, you will see 2005  twice and in the bottom line you will see 2005  twice. Leave the top line alone. Replace 2005  with 2010  in both spots in the bottom line.
