Can I set defaults on the Country and Province/State fields, so that when I add new students those are already filled in?
Yes. You can set the Default for each Field.
- Go here: Setup > Field Maintenance - System
- Scroll to Location and click the + to drop down its contents.
- Click Country
- In the lower, middle of this form, Click Edit.
- Assign your Default Value at left by choosing an entry from the picklist. Note: If you do not see the Country you need, modify your list of available countries here: Setup > Lookup Tables > Country.
- In the lower, middle of this form, Click Submit.
- Repeat Steps 2 through 6 for each Field for which you wish to establish a Default.
